In keeping with our school's mission to, among other things, provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for our pupils, CP has appointed our school counselor, Katelyn Hoobler, as our anti-bullying specialist.  If you have concerns that another CP pupil is harassing, intimidating, or bullying your child, either at school or elsewhere, please call Ms. Cameron at CP at 806-4230 or e-mail her at elizabeth_cameron@princetonk12.org.

Princeton Public Schools - Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying

Princeton Public Schools take every report of harassment, intimidation and bullying very seriously.  The PPS administration and Board of Education have worked diligently on civility and anti-bullying policies.  We have worked hard to ensure that we are in compliance with the harassment, intimidation, and bullying legislation in New Jersey.  Our intention is to ensure that our schools are safe and nurturing environments for every student and employee and that all students are taught to learn and engage with one another with compassion and empathy.

Princeton Public Schools HIB Grades
January 2016

The Harassment Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) grades posted below were determined through a self-assessment created by the New Jersey Department of Education and completed by each School Safety Team.  Based upon the measures outlined in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights, there were eight elements factored into the score of each school.  A maximum score of 78 would indicate the school “exceeds” expectations for each element.  A score of 52 would indicate a school “meets” all state requirements.  The district grade is an average of the scores for each school.
